STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF FLUORIDE ON LASER ENHANCED REMINERALIZATION OF DEMINERALIZED HUMAN ENAMEL

Background: Enamel is regularly subjected to demineralization and remineralization under different oral circumstances. Any interruption in the balance between can initiate formation of incipient caries lesions. However, early stage these lesions be remineralizedusing various preventive measures. Topical fluorides have shown positive results prevention several studies. The aim this study was determine effects combination diode laser topical fluoride application on surface microhardness demineralized enamel. Materials Methods: Four caries-free human premolars were examined stereomicroscope exclude teeth with enamel defects. Buccal (SMH) for all samples measured by Micro Vickers Hardness Tester (MVHT). 15% Hydrochloric acid (HCl) PH average 4.5, then SMH measured. toothpaste after application.
